Plastic to Sea, Plastic to Love – Ecofestival plastic free in rome

On september the 5th, starts in rome the first plastic free eco festival, “plastic at sea”.  Courses and debates to talk of plastic massive pollution; performances, workshops and many artists to learn new practice for the collection and creative recycling. The event, through the several suggested activities, aims at raise awareness in a broad and eterogeneous audience with reference to the impact of plastic on the sea ecosystem, by disclosing of recent researches, show in a practical way how plastic can be damaging on one side and re-used on the other side.

To the event will participate artists who have dealt with the theme in a creative way, transforming and re-using plastic in very different ways; plastic on one side as scrapped material poisoning the sea (plastic to sea), on the other side as material to wich a new life can be given (plastic to love). The location of the event will be the touristic port of rome, together with the area of the city hall, with natural areas, the coast line, the reserves, its history and ancient ostia village.
