Record-breaking JEC World
The 2024 edition of JEC World, the leading international event dedicated to composite materials, held in Paris over the past few days, closed with record numbers.
According to the organisers, 43,500 operators from more than one hundred countries (it was 40,200 in 2023) passed through the turnstiles during the three days of the exhibition, welcomed by 1,300 exhibitors in 27 halls. There were 600 presentations of materials, processing technologies and composite products and 8,000 face-to-face meetings as part of the JEC Business Meetings programme, an increase of 13 per cent compared to 2023.
Our country was among the protagonists of the Country on Stage conferences this year, along with Belgium and France, offering participants the opportunity to learn about the characteristics, trends and strategies of the composites industry in the three countries.
By the time the gates closed, 54% of the exhibition space had already been booked for the next edition, scheduled from 4 to 6 March 2025 at the Paris Nord Villepinte exhibition centre in the French capital.
