Opening of the Exhibition: “To make the sea you need a flower”

When Art makes you wonder on the theme of environmental sustainability.

It happens in Pavia, where in these days opens the installation in Land Art of the artist Claudia Borgna inside the Vernavola Park. The Contemporary Art exhibition wants to raise awareness in the passers-by and make them wonder on the value of recycling and consumption.  Giant flowers  scattered around the park made by recycled plastic bags and bottles. “From the things we throw away we can read our lives. What we eat, what we drink, how we dress, if we are fine or not. Time by time I understood that the bags were the symbol of what I meant to say. Consequently I started to pick them up where I could find them and use them for my masterpieces” This is the explanation of the artist about the choice of the bags.
