Biofuels from protection devices

A group of researchers of univeristy of petroleum and energy studies of dehradun, in india, has lead a reasearch to transform the abandoned dpi in bio fuels. According to the researchers it is possible to convert the polypropylene into a synthetic fuel, through pirolisi. Pirolisi is a chemical process that decompose plastics. The material is submitted to very high temperatures up to decomposition, resulting into a liquid and syntetic bio fuel with characteristics similar to fossil fuels. “the transformation should not prevent only heavy consequences for human beings and environment but – according to the authors- it would allow a source of energy. With the production of this biofuel it would be possible to solve at the same time the problem of individual protecion devices and of the increasing energy demand.
