An Australian research sounds the alarm: 14 million of tonns of plastic under the ocean

An australian research design an alarming picture on sea pollution. It would be at least 14 millions the tonns of plastic parts of a width lower than 5 mm on the ocean floor. The governative scientific australian agency has collected  samples from the  ocean floor and their analysis suggests that there might be a quantity of plastic 30 times greater than those on the surface. According to the research director, denise hardesty, “plastic is in the whole water column”. “This should make us think on the world where we live and in the impact of our habits on those who is considered the most unspoilt place in the planet”. ” We must avoid that the oceans become a big landfill – ends mrs hardesty. We have an additional proof that the oceans have to do a radical intervention”.
