Exhibion areas sold out and waiting lists for K2022
As a tradition, Honneger Gaspare- the italian representative for the Düsseldorf Exhibition – is organising in the year of K a presentation in Milan with Mr Thomas Franken – the responsible of the event in Dusseldorf, as guest. The goal of the meeting is to give to the trade press a panoramic of the exhibition, that this year will celebrate its 70th Anniversary, a few months before its opening, foreseen for October 19th.
Lets analyse the numbers. Despite the pandemic and the Ukraine crisis, the K exhibition is sold-out: the whole 175.000 squared meters of the exhibition surface have been booked by about 3.000 exhibitors coming from more than 60 countries.
Of this space. Of this space-reminds Armando Honneger- 27.000 squared meters have been booked by Italian exhibitors, thousand more than the previous edition, despite a sligtly decrease in the number of exhibitors, 390 instead of the 430 of three years ago, even if about forty are in a waiting list hoping to find a place at last. And some places might become available due to the covid-19 especially in Asia, and to the uncertain presence of companies from Russia, country currently under sanctions.
