Fakuma aims to sell out

The organisers of the Fakuma are aiming for a sold-out exhibition space again this year. In fact, the 28th edition of the trade fair dedicated to the plastics industry returns in autumn, after having skipped last year’s event to avoid overlapping with K2022, at the Friedrichshafen exhibition centre on Lake Constance, from 17 to 21 October 2023.
At the end of January, there were 1,169 exhibitors registered for the Fakuma, 40% from abroad, from 38 countries: “Halls A1 to A7 and B1 to B5, as well as the east and west foyer areas, including the east atrium, are now almost sold out,’ reports project manager Annemarie Schur of P. E. Schall, the company organising the event. Nine months before the opening of the gates, it is becoming increasingly evident that the halls will be full again’. “The importance of topics such as environmental protection and digitisation as well as the sustainable and efficient processing of plastics can be perceived.
