The global plastics and rubber industry is preparing for the K 2025 trade fair, to be held in Düsseldorf from 8 to 15 October 2025. A year in advance, the exhibition space is already fully booked, confirming the global importance of this event. This year’s motto, ‘The Power of Plastics! Green – Smart – Responsible’, reflects the commitment to sustainable innovation and environmental responsibility, with a focus on circular economy and digitisation.

Special events at K 2025
During K 2025, there will be special events such as the exhibition ‘Plastics shape the Future’, which will explore the evolution of the plastics industry, in cooperation with Plastics Europe Germany. In addition, the VDMA will return with an external forum dedicated to the theme ‘The Power of Plastics’, highlighting the potential of technological innovation.

K 2025: activities for young people and women in the industry
Two new features of K 2025 include a dedicated programme for young professionals, designed to attract new talents to the industry, and a networking event for women in the industry, which aims to strengthen women’s professional networks and promote female leadership.
