In Colombia, the only country where the Tamarin Edipo lives, the deforestation rate has increased of the 44% between 2015 and 2016, leading it close to extinction.

The researchers of the Proyecto Titi have thought to hamper the destructive process, replacing the wooden fences in recycled plastics fences, in order to reduce to zero the cutting of the trees in the forest, home of the small monkey.
